Hi, my name is Duke or Dukie, as my foster mom likes to call me. I did not have a great start in life... I was kept in a pen so I did not get a chance to explore the world. Since coming to New Hope, I am learning all about life. I am learning that people are kind, car rides were scary at first but now I love to go for rides. I love to play with other dogs, love to give kisses and snuggle. One thing I would like to point out, when you meet me, you will notice I have some fur missing in places, but that is because of a thyroid issue that was discovered. I take 2 pills a day, which are not expensive, that help regulate my thyroid and also are helping me get my coat back. I am old enough to know to be polite in a person's home, I am housebroke. But I'm young enough to run and play. I love other dogs, I know how to sit, come and give paw.
