milo

MILO

  • male, 1 year old

My name is Milo, I am 1 year old and I have a big loving heart! I love my family and my family loves me. I do have an unpredictable reaction to new people unfortunately, and can show aggressive behavior to certain people that I don’t know who make me nervous – especially children. I do great with the children I live with, ages 4 and 7. My owners have taken me to animal behaviorists, who believe that with dedicated training I can be helped to modify my behavior. Unfortunately, my owners don’t have the time to dedicate to such training, with their very full home and work lives. They want a great home for me to feel relaxed and loved.

I am very well housebroken, neutered, crate-trained, up to date on all shots, and heartworm negative. I just love playing with other dogs!I go to doggy daycare twice a week and do lots of long runs with my owners. I live with and interact great with our 15 yr old border collie and 2 cats as well. I do take a daily anti-anxiety medicine which helps me manage my anxious feelings. I need a special home that understands my quirks and ideally has had experience with cattle dogs like me before. My owners love me very much and are dedicated to finding me the best situation for me to be happy. Thank you!

Hi, I'm Gus. I would make a fantastic companion animal for a relaxed household. I'm playful but content with shorter walks and lots of scratchies. I love other dogs and people and I'm good with cats too. I'm such a good boy in the house - I promise I'll leave your furniture and shoes alone.

roxy

ROXY

  • female, 15 years old

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ROXY, PLEASE CONTACT KRISTINE at 719.836.3365.

My name is “Roxy” and I’m a beautiful and gentle dog that needs a home because my owner is leaving to Liberia, Africa for an uncertain amount of time to develop a public library.

Ideally I would like to be adopted by a person who is at home most of the time. I’m older so it is hard for me to hold my bladder for more than 7 hours. I get along with other dogs, but I ask that they also be gentle and accepting. I have lost my hearing and my eye sight is limited.

I love short walks, soft pads to lay on and to be scratched behind my ears.
My recent blood work and urinalysis test look great.

Please contact Kristine at 719.836.3365!
